# Admin Training 1: Connect Vacation Tracker to Google Workspace

Sign up with your Google Workspace account. Your team signs in with Google, and everything happens in the Vacation Tracker dashboard.

## Sign Up

- Go to app.vacationtracker.io/signup and click Sign up with Google.

- Sign in with your Google Workspace account and allow Vacation Tracker.

- Follow the steps to finish setting up your account.

## How Your Team Uses It

- Signing in: everyone signs in to the dashboard with their Google account.

- Requests and approvals: happen in the dashboard. Approvers also get each request by email, with buttons to approve or deny.

- Notifications: leave summaries and birthday messages are sent by email.

## Check It Worked

You can open the dashboard and see the left-hand menu for an Administrator.

## Common Questions

Is there a Vacation Tracker app in Google Chat?No. With Google Workspace, everything happens in the dashboard, and notifications arrive by email.
