# Approver Training 5: Check Who's Off Before You Approve (Microsoft Teams)

Check who's off before you approve a request, so your team stays covered.

## In the Dashboard

- Home > Team Calendar: the Coverage view shades each day by the share of your team away, and marks holidays and pending requests.

- Calendar: leave for your team, day by day.

- Wallchart: a timeline of who's off, person by person.

- Leave request panel: when you open a request, Who's away these days shows anyone from the same Department with approved leave on those dates.

- Holidays: the holidays for each Location.

## In Microsoft Teams

- Ask the Vacation Tracker bot in the app chat, for example who from my team is off this week?

- Each request message has an Open Calendar button that opens the Calendar for that Department and those dates.

## Common Questions

I don't see the Wallchart. Why?Your Administrator decides which roles can see the Wallchart. Ask them to give Approvers access.

Where do I see public holidays?Open Holidays in the left-hand menu. It lists the holidays for each Location. You can view them, but not change them.
