Now you can access this information on our Logs page! # How Can I View User Profile Logs? # How Can I View User Profile Logs? Each User's profile has a Logs tab that records every change affecting them — quota adjustments, rollover days, accruals, role changes, location / department changes, activations, deactivations, and more. As an Admin or Approver, you can open another User's profile and check their Logs tab to see what's been happening to that account. ## Steps - Sign in at app.vacationtracker.io (https://app.vacationtracker.io/signin) with an Admin or Approver account. - In the left-hand menu, click Users. - Find the User whose logs you want to check and click their name to open their profile. - Click the Logs tab at the top of the profile (next to Profile and Leaves). - Use the filter dropdown to narrow by category if you want, and pick a date range to scope the view. ![User profile Logs tab with category filter dropdown, date range picker, and chronological list of entries showing timestamp, actor, and field-level changes](https://cms.vacationtracker.io/uploads/helpdesk_artikal_how_can_i_view_user_profile_logs_first_image_place_7c7fd30fa0.png) Looking at your own logs? Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left of the sidebar and pick My Profile, then go to the Logs tab. Same layout, scoped to your own account. ## What Shows Up - Changes to leave quotas (manual adjustments, the Change button, accruals) - Brought Forward / rollover day updates at year-end - Location or Department changes - Role changes (User ↔ Administrator) - TOIL added or used - Approver assignment changes that affect this User - User activations — when the account was activated or reactivated (after being on the Inactive tab) - User deactivations — when the account was deactivated by an Admin - Custom workweek and workday-length changes - Profile-level field edits (Name, Email, Employee Since / End Date, Employee ID, Birthday) - Label additions / removals (Complete plan) Each entry includes the timestamp, the actor (the Admin or Approver who made the change), and the field-level details — what changed from and to. Account-wide audit The User Logs tab is scoped to one User. For workspace-wide audit visibility (every change across the account, including company / location / department / leave type), use Reports → Company Audit Logs (https://vacationtracker.io/knowledge-base/how-can-i-view-company-logs/) — Admin only. ## Common Questions Are leave edits visible here? No — individual leave edits (changes to a specific leave's dates, hours, or reason) live on the Leaves tab, tied to the leave record. The Logs tab focuses on profile-level changes. If you're tracing edits to a specific leave, open Leaves first. How far back do logs go? Logs are kept for the lifetime of the User's account — events from years ago are still browsable. The date-range filter lets you zoom into a window if you only care about a specific period. Can Approvers see logs for Users outside their Department? No. Approvers can only open profiles for Users in Departments where they're listed as an Approver, so logs follow the same scope. Admins can view anyone's logs. ### What's Next?
