# How Do I Turn the Energy Feature On or Off for My Team?

Admins control who sees the Energy feature using two dropdowns on the Features & Permissions page. One controls the personal My Energy level page each User has. The other controls the team-level Team Energy page. Pick the role that should have access; everyone else won't see the page.

## The Two Settings

- Who can see their own Energy Level: controls whether each User can open their personal My Energy level page (with their score, Weekly Energy Trend, score breakdown, leave suggestions, and Recharge Type).

- Who can see the Team Energy page: controls who can open the team-level dashboard with team-wide patterns and time-off planning data.

Each dropdown takes one of three values: Everyone, Administrators & Approvers, or Administrators only.

## Steps to Change Access

- Sign in at app.vacationtracker.io (https://app.vacationtracker.io/signin) with an Admin account.

- In the left-hand menu, expand Workspace Settings and click Features & Permissions.

- Pick the access level you want for each of the two Energy dropdowns. The page saves automatically; no Save button is needed.

Hiding doesn't delete

If you switch access off for a role, that role stops seeing the page from then on. No data is lost. Switch the dropdown back to give access again, and the page returns with the same data behind it.

## Common Questions

Can I disable Energy completely for the workspace?

Setting both Energy dropdowns to Administrators only hides the feature from every other role. Admins will still have the page available; that's how the access model is structured.

Will turning the personal page off affect the score calculation?

No. The score keeps being calculated in the background. The settings only control which roles can see it. Give access back later and the score is already there and ready to show.

Will turning off the personal page affect leave requests?

No. Leave requests via Slack, Microsoft Teams, email, and the dashboard keep working as usual. Only the My Energy level page itself and its AI-powered suggestions disappear for that role.
