No. Many companies with offices in several places let each office follow its own local holidays. The builder shows where they differ so you can plan cover. Check the official sources for each location before you publish your calendar.

Do all offices have to observe the same holidays?

In many places the day off moves to the nearest weekday, called the observed date. The builder shows both the actual and the observed date, and counts the observed date as the day off.

What happens when a holiday falls on a weekend?

Yes. In each location, use Add a company day to add a single date or a date range with your own name, such as Day after Thanksgiving. Company days are included in the combined view and in the exports.

Can I add company holidays that aren't public holidays?

Download the .ics file for a location, or the combined file for all locations. In Outlook, import it from File › Open & Export › Import/Export. In Google Calendar, go to Settings › Import & export and import the file.
