Vacation Tracker has been in public beta for a while now, and during that time period, we’ve received a lot of quality feedback. We do our best to make Vacation Tracker as intuitive as possible, so any feedback we get, we put it into action right away.

And that’s why today, we’re more than proud to announce that the export option is now available on Vacation Tracker. It has been one of our most requested features.

As an administrator, you can easily generate various reports and download them as CSV files. To download a report, simply head on over to the administrator dashboard.

How do I access the administrator dashboard in Vacation Tracker?

You can access the administrator dashboard by going to https://app.vacationtracker.io/signup. Please note that you need to be logged into Slack and that you need to be an administrator of your Slack organization in order to access the administrator dashboard for the first time.

After you add other administrators for Vacation Tracker, they will also be able to access the dashboard even if they are not Slack administrators.

How do I download reports as CSV files?

From your dashboard go to the “Settings” page, and then click “Export”. To generate a report all you have to do is choose your team, and the time period you want the report for. After you’ve selected everything, simply confirm and your report will begin downloading.

Name
Slack Username
Type
Reason
Number of days
Approved By
