Access the Blackout Period automation from your Dashboard
All Automations are available under the Automations tab of the Administrator Dashboard.
Administrators and Approvers can manage, create and access Blackout Periods in just a few clicks. You can also activate or deactivate them at any time.
Customize and fine-tune it to meet your unique needs
Pick a time period, choose who your Blackout Period automation applies to, align it with particular leave types and set up a one-time or recurring Automation.
You can also add an auto-reject reason to inform your team why their request is denied.
And watch the magic happen
Once your Automation is live, users who request a leave during the Blackout Period will receive an auto-rejection in Vacation Tracker, including a clear explanation detailing why their leave was rejected.
