Seniority Entitlements
Yes, you can! For example, you can set different entitlements for the same leave type based on the employee's years of service. For instance, for the 'WFH' leave type, you can give employees in Canada 2 additional days after 1 year of service, and 3 days after 5 years of service.
If the user's employee start date does not match the fiscal year start date, we'll prorate seniority-based days in the year they are awarded. For example, if your fiscal year starts on January 1st, the user started working on July 1st 5 years ago, and your company gives 5 additional PTO days on July 5th after 5 years of service, the user will receive 2.5 days on July 1st because of the prorate. This user will receive all 5 seniority-based days in the next fiscal year.
Not at this moment. Currently, you can only configure one Seniority Entitlement per location. However, we’re always looking to improve our features, so feel free to contact us for custom solutions.
This add-on is valid starting from your current fiscal year. Any entitlements configured will apply from that point onward.
