Christmas is just around the corner, and it’s time to start with our favorite Christmas traditions. Each year, we decorate our houses with wonderful Christmas decorations and enjoy holiday traditions with our families.

We often say for our workplace that it’s like our second home, and there’s a reason for it. We spend a lot of time in our offices, surrounded by our team members. It’s only natural we should share some Christmas traditions with them as well.

If you are looking for some interesting office traditions, yet you do not know where to start, we have a couple of ideas.

Ugly Sweater Contest

The “Ugly Sweater Contest” is by far one of the most popular office traditions out there, and we absolutely love it. Not only do you get a casual dress day, but you also might win some awards and have an amazing time with your team members. Offer some interesting awards, as it will motivate everyone to participate.

Make sure you provide food and drinks for everyone, as it will make the entire contest even more fun.

Secret Santa

You’ve probably heard of this amazing office tradition, and if you already haven’t, it’s time you include it in your office’s holiday cheer.

Gather everyone’s name in a hat, and ask each team member to pull one name out of it. That’s how they’ll discover whose “Secret Santa” they’ll be, and it will definitely be fun for the entire office. It’s an interesting game of guessing and giving presents. Yay! Just make sure you set a price limit that everyone is okay with. And at the end of the year, put all the presents under a tree with a name written on them. If someone wants to reveal whose “Secret Santa” they were, they can, but they do not have to.

Holiday Party

Having a holiday party is a great way for your team members to bond and get to know each other. Make sure you provide great music, food, and drinks, and get the party started.

You can even make a themed party where everyone will dress up, or you can come up with some interesting team-building activities and throw a great Christmas party. It’s one of our favorite traditions!

Holidays are the most wonderful time of the year, and with these traditions, you can make it even more enjoyable for your team members.
