What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools securely connect to apps like Vacation Tracker. It means your AI can answer questions about your team, leaves, and holidays without having to open up the dashboard.
Can I book time off through AI today?
Yes. Ask your AI to book, change or cancel your time off and it shows you a preview before submitting. Approvers can approve or deny requests, and admins can manage users, locations, holidays and leave policies.

Do I need a developer to set this up?
Nope! You can easily do this by yourself. Just sign in with your Vacation Tracker account, approve access, and you're connected.
What can my AI see and do?
Only what you could see and do in Vacation Tracker. It uses the same sign-in as the web app and follows your role: everyone manages their own leave, approvers approve, and only admins change workspace settings. Disconnect anytime.
Does this cost extra?
No. MCP access is included on the Core and Complete plans. No per-call charges, no separate add-on.
What if my AI tool isn't on the list?
