We've been busy this February, and I'm actually pretty excited to share what we've built. More automation options, better learning resources, and a growing environmental impact that keeps getting bigger with every vacation request you submit.

Zapier Integration Opens Up Thousands of Workflow Possibilities
The big news this month is our Zapier integration entering open beta. This means you can now connect Vacation Tracker to thousands of different apps and build custom workflows that run automatically based on whatever triggers you set up.
Think about it: leave requests updating your project management tools, approval notifications hitting your team chat, or time-off data syncing with payroll systems. All without manual data entry (because who has time for that?).
If you want to test it out, just shoot an email to hello@vacationtracker.io. We're opening this up to everyone who's interested, not just a select group. The more people who test it, the better we can make it before the full release.
VT Academy: Your New Learning Hub
Getting the most out of Vacation Tracker shouldn't require a PhD in leave management software. That's why we launched Vacation Tracker Academy.
It's your go-to space for step-by-step walkthroughs, practical demos, and expert tips. We're adding new videos weekly, covering everything from basic setup to advanced automation strategies. Whether you're just getting started or trying to optimize your existing workflow, there's something useful waiting for you.
The goal is simple: help you become a leave management pro without spending hours figuring things out on your own.
1,096 Trees Planted This Month
Here's something that makes me genuinely happy: this past month, your leave requests helped us plant 1,096 trees through our partnership with One Tree Planted.
Every time someone on your team requests time off, we plant a tree. It's a small action that adds up to real environmental impact. As our community grows, so does our contribution to reforestation efforts around the world.

Platform Updates That Actually Matter
We also made several improvements that'll make your day-to-day experience smoother:
- Company audit logs now track deleted automations so you can see what happened when someone removes a workflow
- Reporting got cleaner by hiding empty and irrelevant columns, giving you just the data you need
- Team availability tooltips were added to the user dashboard to clarify different leave types at a glance
- Seniority entitlement and role-based entitlement automations received several minor enhancements

What's Coming Next
We're not slowing down. The Zapier integration will keep improving based on beta feedback, VT Academy will keep adding new content, and we'll keep planting trees with every vacation request.
