As soon as you sign up, you can invite users to your Vacation Tracker organization using their email addresses.
Once a request has been made on the dashboard, you’ll get an email allowing you to approve or deny the request.
Set automatic approvals, and once a request has been made, you’ll only get an email letting you know that leave has been approved.

How safe is Vacation Tracker when it comes to preventing the leaking of personal information?
Your information is safe! We pull minimal information from your workspace directory (first and last names of users and avatars). We also have two data centers, one in Europe and one in North America. Depending on where your company is based, you will connect to one of these two centers.
I saw that VT integrates with different platforms. We use a couple of them, could you help us decide which one to sign up with?
Of course! It all comes down to personal (or professional) preference. Vacation Tracker does integrate with three platforms: Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace, but you can always sign up via email to test. Can I sync Vacation Tracker with my calendar?
Yes! You can sync Vacation Tracker with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar or any other calendar that supports iCal calendar feeds. And it is easy – just find the API key on the Vacation Tracker dashboard, and copy/paste it to your calendar of choice. And remember, you can always reach out to our support if you need help with this or any other integration setup.

How do I cancel my leave?
There are several ways to cancel leave, based on the platform you are using, but you can always cancel them through app dashboard. You just need to go to Leaves tab, and you will immediately see the CANCEL leave option, written in bright red, on the right.
Can I set accruals?
Yes, and more than that, you can set specific leave policies per location. Accruals can be set in the Settings/Locations/Leave policy tab on the dashboard. You can also choose whether you would like to set them on a monthly, semi-monthly, or biweekly basis.
How do I add bank/federal holidays?
There are two ways to do it, you can either choose a specific location and import national holidays automatically, or you can add time-off dates manually. When importing national holidays, you can also select only the ones that are relevant to your team’s specific needs.
