How to Adjust the Length of Workdays

We have another exciting product tutorial for you this time showing you how you can adjust the length of an employee's workday.  

| This is a feature that is currently available to complete plan users only so if you're on the core plan you will need to upgrade to access it.

Step1:  Log in your vacation tracker account from app.vacationtracker.io/signin 

Step 2: Navigate to the location section on the lefthand menu and you can find it by opening up the settings option and then clicking on locations. 

Step 3: Select the location where you would like to modify the length of employees’ workday. 
 
We're going to take Canada as our example today.  

Step 4: Click on the edit location button which is available in the top right once inside the location settings. 

You simply need to scroll down to the ‘work week’ and ‘workday’ section. By default, it is set to 8 hours, but you can choose to increase or decrease this amount by half hour increments.

The lowest that we could possibly go for a workday is 1 hour while the highest we can possibly go is going to be 23 hours.

I'm going to set this as six hours for today's example.   

Step 5: Click on Update Location.
