The integration you pick during signup decides where your team lives with Vacation Tracker. All four give you the same dashboard, leave features, and Recharge; the difference is how Users are added and where notifications land.

Slack
Your team lives in Slack
- Request, edit, approve, and cancel leave from a Slack bot
- Import Users straight from Slack; they sign in with Slack
- Notifications go to any public or private Slack channel
Microsoft Teams
Your team lives in Teams
- Manage leave through a Teams bot and a Teams tab
- Import Users from Microsoft Entra ID; they sign in with Microsoft
- Notifications go to public Teams channels
Google Workspace
Your team is on Google
- No in-chat bot; everything happens in the dashboard
- Import Users from Google Workspace; they sign in with Google
- Notifications and updates arrive by email
No platform dependency
- Invite anyone by email on any domain
- Users sign in with email and password
- Best for mixed-domain teams or those not on Slack/Teams/Google
How to pick
- Where does your team spend the day? Put Vacation Tracker there
- Do you want an in-chat bot? Slack and Teams give you one; Google and Email Only use the dashboard plus email
- Mixed team or no shared platform? Email Only handles any address, on any domain

Yes, but it's a bigger change than a settings toggle: how Users sign in and where notifications arrive both shift. Your data stays in Vacation Tracker. Reach out to Support before making the switch so the move is clean.
No. A Vacation Tracker workspace runs on one integration at a time. If your team is split across platforms, Email Only is the most flexible middle ground since it isn't tied to any one platform.
On Slack or Microsoft Teams integrations, every User needs an account in that platform to use the bot. They can still use the dashboard, but not the in-chat features. Email Only avoids this since invites work for any address.
