How Do I Customize Leave Quotas for Individual Users?
When setting up your organization’s Vacation Tracker, one of the first things you do is set a number of days for each leave type you have. If the number of leave days differs for some users, you can manually edit them. When editing, you have two options:
- To edit days only for the current or next year
- To edit days permanently, meaning they will recur every year
Let us show you how you can do that within Vacation Tracker!
Step 1: Sign in to your dashboard - https://app.vacationtracker.io/signin
Step 2: On the left-hand side, click on Users.
Step 3: When the Users page appears, click on the User you wish to edit.
Step 4: Once the user’s profile page opens up, scroll down to the Leave Quotas box.
You can edit the leave quota for the current year or other years. You can also choose different leave types to edit.
Step 5: Once you have selected the appropriate year and the leave type, click on Change under the Quota field to make changes to the amount.
Step 6: A pop-up page will appear where you can make the necessary changes.
In this specific example, we change the leave quota from 15 days to 17 days. We don't want to save this quota for future years so we left our answer to "No" to the question "Do you want to apply base leave quota for the future years?".
If you want to save your changes for future years, click on "Yes".
| Here is also where you allocate more days to specific users if you have the Seniority Entitlement Add-On, Role Based Entitlement Add-On, and Time Off In Lieu.
Step 7: Once you are done, click on Update and your changes will be saved.
